Bank of America, a major Plano employer, announced Oct. 6 that it is expanding online fraud-awareness materials for small-business owners during Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

The bank said its publicly accessible Center for Business Empowerment includes a revised fraud-prevention checklist and articles about scams and attempts to manipulate employees. A webinar addressing social engineering and business email compromise is planned for later this fall.

The bank also provides CashPro webinars and an online and mobile Security Meter to its clients.

Plano business owners can find the materials through the bank's Security and Information Management resource page.
