Plano, Texas — The Dallas Stars will open the 2026-27 regular season Oct. 2 at American Airlines Center against the St. Louis Blues, according to the club's schedule announcement.
There are 41 Dallas home games on the slate. October features nine of them, with six straight at the arena later that month. The team faces its largest road workload in January, when it has 10 away dates.
Dallas and the Vegas Golden Knights are scheduled to play outdoors Feb. 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Stadium Series contest is set for 7 p.m. Central and will air on ABC.
Plano is part of the North Texas market served by the Stars, whose regular season will grow to 84 games in 2026-27. That is the NHL's first season at that format since 1993-94.
The Stars have not given a general-public on-sale date for individual home tickets. Certain club and app-connected fan groups are expected to receive advance purchasing access.
