Plano, Texas — FC Dallas announced July 23 that academy forward Benjamin “Benji” Flowers has become the youngest player to sign a professional contract with the club.

Flowers agreed to a Homegrown deal through 2030-31; FC Dallas also holds an option for 2031-32. He is the club’s 49th Homegrown signing.

The forward arrived in the FC Dallas Academy in 2021 at age 10. The club and MLS identify him as a 15-year-old U.S. youth international.

Flowers has made three MLS NEXT Pro appearances for North Texas SC after receiving first-team training call-ups this year. He made his professional debut March 21 against Houston Dynamo 2.

FC Dallas plays in neighboring Frisco, roughly 15 miles northwest of Plano.
