Lane closures on U.S. 75, the Dallas North Tollway, Bush Turnpike and Sam Rayburn Tollway hit Plano drivers this week

Drivers heading in and out of Plano will run into several lane closures on the city's highways and tollways this week, according to the weekly roadwork list KRLD compiles from TxDOT and North Texas Tollway Authority notices.

U.S. 75

The left lane of U.S. 75 is closed in both directions between Interstate 635 and Plano Parkway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day through Friday, Oct. 30.

At night, the left lane of northbound U.S. 75 between Midpark Road in Dallas and Stacy Road in Allen is closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, Oct. 29.

Tollways

Dallas North Tollway: the right lane of the northbound tollway between Westgrove Drive and Plano Parkway is closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Wednesday, Oct. 28.
President George Bush Turnpike: the three right lanes of the eastbound turnpike between Independence Parkway and Custer Road close overnight Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Sam Rayburn Tollway: the right lane of the northbound tollway at Legacy Drive is closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Farther south

Commuters using the tollway into Dallas should plan around a full closure of the northbound Dallas North Tollway at Alpha Road from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, with traffic sent to the service road. Several southbound stretches between I-635 and Lemmon Avenue also lose their two right lanes on overnights Wednesday through Friday.

Schedules can shift with weather, so drivers should check DriveTexas or NTTA's alerts before heading out.
