Fourth-Inning Surge Turns the Game
The Houston Astros overcame an early deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Angels 3-2 on Thursday, August 20, at Daikin Park. The home team trailed by two runs entering the fourth inning but mounted a decisive offensive push to take the lead.
The Angels had built their cushion through a home run and a pair of runs off a double, but Houston answered immediately with two runs of their own to level the score, followed by a sacrifice fly that put them ahead for good.
