Arraez followed with a single to center to score Harper, cutting the deficit to 4-4.
Momentum Shifts
Philadelphia seized the lead in the fourth inning. Smith homered to center (416 feet) to score Varsho, putting the home team ahead 6-4. The Astros answered in the fifth when Turner homered to right-center field (374 feet), making it 6-5.
The game’s decisive moment arrived in the sixth inning. Sosa singled to right to score Arraez and put Stott on second. De La Cruz walked, allowing Stott to score and moving Crawford to second and Sosa to third. Schwarber then homered to right field (408 feet), a grand slam that scored Sosa, Crawford, and De La Cruz, extending the Phillies’ lead to 11-6.
