The Las Vegas Raiders secured a 22-20 victory over the Houston Texans on Friday, August 21, at Reliant Stadium. First-Half Dominance for Houston

In the fourth quarter, Las Vegas mounted a final push. Dare Ogunbowale ran for a 19-yard touchdown, though the PAT was missed. The game was ultimately decided by Aidan O'Connell, who rushed one yard for the winning touchdown.

The PAT failed again, leaving the final score at 22-20. The Raiders' ability to score in the final two quarters proved critical in overturning the early deficit.

Statistical Highlights

On the offensive side, Houston’s Davis Mills passed for 93 yards on 11 of 15 attempts. Woody Marks led the Texans’ ground game with 37 yards on four carries and a touchdown. Marlin Klein contributed 31 receiving yards on three catches.

For Las Vegas, Aidan O'Connell completed 15 of 24 passes for 166 yards. Mike Washington Jr. rushed for 56 yards on nine carries, while Brandon Johnson caught two passes for 41 yards. The Raiders' balanced approach in the second half allowed them to overcome the Texans’ early dominance and claim the win.
