Plano International Festival returns to Haggard Park on Saturday, Oct. 17, with six hours of cultural performances, displays and family activities. Admission and parking are free.
The 22nd annual festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the downtown park, 901 E. 15th St. Organizers list music and dance performances, artwork, food trucks and cultural exhibits among the attractions.
Children can try hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and math activities and use a Festival Passport while visiting cultural booths, according to Visit Plano’s event listing.
Visitors interested in the Wellness Fair and FitZone should plan for an earlier finish. Those activities run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with free health services and fitness demonstrations listed by the organizer. The wellness fair is in the Courtyard Theater, according to Visit Plano.
