Digger’s Cove opened its doors on Sept. 4 at 7200 Independence Parkway, Suite 238, providing a year-round indoor environment for children aged 10 and younger. The facility allows visitors to engage in digging and building activities without exposure to outdoor weather conditions. This launch follows earlier announcements regarding the development of the large-scale play space.
The venue is divided into four distinct zones designed for interactive play. A central area features a large sand pit, while a separate construction zone allows children to operate vehicles using joysticks. An animated sandbox section projects changing landscapes, such as mountains and rivers, in response to how children reshape the sand.
Additionally, an interactive creative wall enables users to color designs, scan them, and view the resulting digital images on a large screen.
According to the business, the sand used in the facility is premium white material sourced from the Bahamas. The company states that the sand is silica-free, non-toxic, and maintained on a daily basis.
Admission is structured around reserved two-hour sessions. Current pricing begins at $19.99 for the first child, with accompanying siblings entering for $17.99. Adults accompanying children do not pay an entry fee. The venue also provides options for birthday parties, field trips, and membership passes.
