Plano Senior High School has outlined inclement-weather procedures for students moving between buildings during campus renovations, including an extra shuttle stop during heavy rain and possible pauses in outdoor travel.

In a Sept. 30 letter to families, the school said severe weather, including lightning, may trigger a campus Hold. Students and staff would remain inside until outdoor movement is safe, potentially delaying shuttles and changing the day’s schedule.

During heavy rain, buses leaving Building H will add a stop in the east parking lot near the pond for students traveling to Buildings D, E and the portables. Students heading to Building H can also board there. The school asks students to limit use of the Wildcat Walkway during heavy rain.

Students in Building H should remain inside during lunch and wait under cover for dismissal.

Families can review arrival entrances and the full building-by-building instructions in the school’s parent letter.
