A student-athlete from Crandall High School in North Texas was transported to a hospital via helicopter after suffering an injury during practice on Wednesday, according to Crandall Independent School District (ISD).

The district reported that a medical helicopter landed near the baseball fields to facilitate the student's transfer for additional medical care. Crandall ISD expressed concern for the injured player and the family, requesting that the community honor their privacy during this difficult time.
