Ryan Flournoy will not be suited up for the Dallas Cowboys' preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks, according to a report by Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer indicated earlier this month that the team's starters are not expected to participate in any games during the preseason. Despite not playing this weekend, Flournoy is anticipated to have ample chances to develop chemistry with quarterback Dak Prescott during training camp practices.
Flournoy is expected to secure the No. 3 receiver position on the Cowboys' roster. However, his playing time may be limited due to the presence of star wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, who are likely to dominate the targets in the offense.
