Noah Brown, a former wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, marking a new chapter in his NFL career. The Raiders announced the signing on Sunday, adding Brown to their active roster while releasing defensive tackle Benito Jones to accommodate him.
Brown comes to Las Vegas after spending the last two seasons with the Washington Commanders, where he faced significant injury challenges that led to him missing 19 games. Despite these setbacks, he demonstrated his value when healthy, recording 40 receptions for 536 yards and one touchdown during his time in Washington, averaging 13.4 yards per catch.
Drafted by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Brown became known for his physical play and versatility. Over six seasons in Dallas, he carved out a niche as a reliable role player, contributing on special teams and as a blocker.
His most productive season with the Cowboys was in 2022, when he caught 43 passes for 555 yards and three touchdowns, providing support as a secondary target to Dak Prescott.
After leaving Dallas, Brown signed with the Houston Texans, where he had a successful season, totaling 33 receptions for 567 yards and two touchdowns, averaging an impressive 17.2 yards per reception. Throughout his NFL career, he has accumulated 155 catches for 2,083 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing a steady performance rather than superstar statistics.
