The Texans had six players unavailable for Wednesday’s practice, including five who were dealing with injuries. Tight end Dalton Schultz was absent for rest.

The injured players who did not participate were offensive tackle Trent Brown, listed with knee and wrist issues; defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, knee; wide receiver Nico Collins, hamstring; linebacker Jake Hummel, groin; and offensive guard Ed Ingram, groin.

Collins hurt his hamstring during practice last week and did not play in Houston’s Week 2 loss to the Bengals.

Defensive ends Will Anderson Jr. and Logan Hall, along with safety M.J. Stewart, were limited. Anderson was listed for rest, while Hall and Stewart were managing knee injuries. Safety Reed Blankenship and linebacker Wade Woodaz were full participants, despite thumb injuries.
