TCU is 2-1 ahead of its Big 12 opener against UCF on Sept. 26, and wide receiver Jordan Dwyer is expected to return after missing the Horned Frogs’ first three games of the 2026 season because of a foot injury. His availability has not been confirmed beyond coach Sonny Dykes’ update.
Dykes said after TCU’s 31-7 win over Arkansas State that he anticipates Dwyer playing in the upcoming game. The coach also said the receiver’s return would give the team a lift.
Dwyer joined TCU from Idaho and started every regular-season game in 2025. He recorded 54 receptions, 730 receiving yards and seven touchdowns that season. In his TCU debut against North Carolina, he caught nine passes for 136 yards and scored one touchdown.
During Dwyer’s absence, Ed Small has emerged as one of TCU’s leading receivers. Tight end Kari Ashley also made contributions in the Arkansas State victory, giving quarterback Jaden Craig multiple passing options during the opening games.
