The Houston Texans have announced the signing of tight end Louis Hansen to their roster. This marks Hansen's second time with the team, having initially joined in June before being waived in late July.
Hansen, who went undrafted in April, played college football for two years at Michigan and three years at Connecticut. Over his collegiate career, he recorded 46 receptions for 463 yards and four touchdowns across 40 games.
Currently, the Texans' tight end roster includes Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. No corresponding roster move was necessary to accommodate Hansen's signing.
