Anderson Leads Mariners Past Rangers

Rookie pitcher Kade Anderson secured his first win of the season by delivering six innings of solid work. He allowed four hits and walked one batter while striking out five. Anderson took the loss for the Rangers, who finished with a record of 72-74.
Scoring Sequence
The game unfolded with a lead change in the second inning. The Rangers took an early 1-0 lead in the top half when Burger homered to center field. However, Seattle answered immediately in the bottom half. Ward singled to center field, allowing Raleigh to score and tying the game at 1-1.
Seattle extended their lead in the fourth inning. Young doubled to right field, driving in Ward and Naylor to make the score 3-1. The Rangers managed to cut the deficit in the eighth inning when Seager homered to left field, bringing the game to 3-2.
