Ben Peoples relieved Gore in the eighth inning, pitching a hitless frame but issuing one walk before the game concluded.

Rays’ Pitching Depth

Tampa Bay utilized a multi-pitcher approach to maintain their shutout. Casey Legumina started for the Rays, tossing 1.2 innings without allowing an earned run. Ian Seymour took over in the middle relief role, pitching 4.2 innings and earning the win with a record of 7-3.

He was supported by Garrett Cleavinger and Kevin Kelly, who both recorded holds, combining for 5.2 scoreless innings. Bryan Baker closed out the game with one perfect inning to secure his 29th save of the campaign.
