A new industrial building is planned at the east Plano address that Computerized Cutters, a maker of machines for the sign industry, lists as its home.
The project, registered Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the state's Texas Architectural Barriers database, calls for new construction of a 30,000-square-foot shell building at 2900 Guilders Drive. The filing puts the cost at $3.4 million, with work scheduled to begin Nov. 1 and wrap up July 31, 2027.
The project is titled "26052 - Computerized Cutters BTS." The owner listed on the filing is Ondracek Properties LLC, which gives a Plano address, and the design firm is RGA Architects of Roanoke. No tenant is assigned on the filing, and it does not say whether the company will occupy all of the building.
Computerized Cutters' website lists its address as 2900 Guilder Drive in Plano's 75074 ZIP code. The company says it was founded in Dallas in 1994 and builds router tables and fabrication equipment for sign shops, including channel letter benders, trim cap machines and clinching machines. It says it built the first channel letter bending machine in 1997 and backs its machines with a three-year warranty.
It is privately funded on private land, according to the filing.
