Three west Plano intersections are in line for traffic signal work in 2027, under a city project registered with the state on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
According to the registration, which went to the state agency that checks public works for accessibility, the signals are planned for:
- Parkwood Boulevard and Henry Cook Boulevard
- Legacy Drive and Thomas Watson Way
- Parkwood Boulevard and Tennyson Parkway
The City of Plano is listed as the owner and the project is publicly funded. The estimated cost is $2,142,000.
What the work includes
The scope describes two kinds of work. One part is construction of traffic signals with accessible curb ramps and sidewalks, covering about 10,190 and 7,290 square feet of walkway. The other is a modification of an existing traffic signal with ramps and about 1,400 square feet of sidewalk.
