ChaHalo, a beverage chain originating in China, is set to open its first store in North Texas at a location in Plano on August 18. The shop will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 6809 N. Central Expressway, Suite 500.
Eva Gao, the owner of the Plano site, stated that her goal is to introduce modern and healthy tea drinking culture from China to the local area.
The brand was established in 2016 and currently operates nearly 1,000 stores in China, according to its website. In the United States, the company has eight locations. Its beverages are prepared using brewed whole-leaf tea and fresh milk. Gao noted that the brand’s Houston store, which opened in early July, attracted long lines of customers.
The Plano location will host a soft opening from August 18 to 20, during which the full menu will be available. From August 21 to 23, the store will hold a grand opening featuring a select menu of eight drinks with buy-one-get-one offers. Additional promotions include limited-edition free horse charms and a fridge magnet.
The eight-drink selection includes Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, Jasmine Green Milk Tea, and Roasted Oolong Milk Tea, each priced at $6.49. Other options are the ChaHalo Black Milk Tea Frappe and Coconut Water with Pistachio Cheese Foam, both at $7.49.
The menu also features Fresh Roasted Oolong Lemon Tea and Jasmine Lemon Green Tea at $6.49, along with ChaHalo Coconut Water at $7.49, which combines tea and coconut water.
