Byron Nelson played without star setter Sophee Peterson, who is the reigning Gatorade and MaxPreps National Player of the Year. Keller has started its District 4-6A season with a 3-0 record.
Hebron moved up to No. 2 in the standings, extending its winning streak to 13 matches. Recent victories include wins over nationally ranked Duncanville and Plano Prestonwood Christian. In a four-set win over Frisco Wakeland on Tuesday, Kate McGough recorded 22 kills and 18 digs, while Kamryn Mullican added 52 assists.
Duncanville advanced in its pursuit of the District 11-6A title by defeating Mansfield, 25-18, 19-25, 23-25, 25-20, and 15-9, on Tuesday. Peyton Smith posted 37 kills and 20 digs, and Alina Pinter recorded 35 digs. This marked the second consecutive loss for Mansfield, which had previously fallen to Waxahachie in four sets on Friday.
