Paris Baguette has opened a new bakery café in Plano, Texas, marking the company’s 27th location in the state. The establishment, situated at 5500 State Highway 121, Suite 100, began serving customers on June 4. The site offers the brand’s standard selection of artisan breads, pastries, cakes, and handcrafted beverages.
The Plano outlet is owned by franchise partners CJ Singh and Punya Kushalappa. The owners cited their backgrounds in technology, restaurant, and hospitality sectors as foundational to their decision to join the brand. They described their partnership as being built on a shared interest in coffee and hospitality, aiming to create a space for community connection.
Darren Tipton, chief executive officer of Paris Baguette, stated that the opening aligns with the company’s goal of re-establishing neighborhood bakery cafés as community hubs across the United States. Tipton noted that the new owners would embrace the company’s service philosophy.
The expansion is part of a larger growth strategy for the company, which currently operates more than 300 bakery cafés across North America and over 4,000 locations globally. Paris Baguette has set a target to reach 1,000 bakery cafés in the United States and Canada by 2030.
In conjunction with its physical expansion, the company has introduced new menu items to its North American locations. In June, Paris Baguette launched a limited-time Summer Collection featuring lemon blueberry pastries, cakes, doughnuts, and campfire-inspired desserts. The collection also includes seasonal beverages such as blueberry coffee drinks, matcha, lemonade, and s’mores-themed options.
