Madisonville Christmas Co. is set to open its first retail location in North Texas this September. The pop-up shop will be situated in the former Weir's Furniture store on Preston Road, near the intersection with Spring Creek in Plano.
Ashley Rentz, the founder of the company, stated that the store will remain open throughout the holiday season. Rentz noted that North Texas already represents a significant portion of the company's customer base. She described the expansion as a way to bring the Madisonville experience closer to existing shoppers who have previously traveled to the flagship location.
"North Texas is already an important part of our customer base, so in many ways this feels less like entering a new market and more like bringing Madisonville closer to customers who already know us," Rentz said in an emailed response.
The flagship store in Madisonville is located on an 11-acre campus that includes a restaurant, entertainment options, and overnight stay facilities. Rentz indicated that the Plano location will offer a curated version of this experience while introducing the brand to new audiences. The goal is to provide a preview of the broader destination available in Madisonville.
Shoppers at the Plano site can expect to find artificial trees, ornaments, ribbon, wreaths, garlands, floral designs, and tabletop or mantel decor. The location will also feature custom design services, allowing customers to work with holiday designers to create personalized home decorations.
