North Texas communities are preparing for a busy month of summer entertainment, with Plano, Frisco, Dallas, and surrounding areas hosting a wide array of events throughout July. The schedule features major sporting tournaments, Independence Day celebrations, live music concerts, and family-oriented festivals.

Sports fans have numerous opportunities to watch the FIFA World Cup across the region. A fan festival runs from June 11 through July 19 at Fair Park in Dallas, offering live match screenings and interactive experiences. On July 4, the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco will screen the Round of 16 matches alongside district activities. The tournament continues on July 14 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington for the semifinals.

Independence Day observances are prominent in the area. Addison Circle Park in Addison hosts the Addison Kaboom Town! celebration on July 3, featuring an air show and a 30-minute fireworks display. In Frisco, the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa offers family activities and a performance by Darius Rucker on July 4, followed by fireworks. The same day, Riders Field in Frisco hosts the Freedom Fest Block Party, which includes a classic car show, Hometown Heroes recognition by the Frisco American Legion, a RoughRiders game, and a fireworks show around 10 p.m.

Music performances headline several weekends. The Outlaw Music Festival takes place on July 3 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, with Willie Nelson headlining alongside Wilco, Sheryl Crow, and other artists. Later in the month, Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire perform at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on July 29. The TMC Luau 2026 returns to the Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center in Plano on July 9, offering swimming and food. Downtown Plano transforms for Tropics on the Tracks from July 17 to 20 at McCall Plaza, featuring DJs and shaded lounges. The Summer Jam Golf Festival occurs on July 27 at the PGA District in Frisco, providing free golf games and vendor demos.

Additional family events include Dude Perfect’s Squad Games Tour at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on July 11, and Bubble Palooza at Grandscape in The Colony on July 30, which focuses on interactive play for children.
