Plano police will host their 2026 Women in Law Enforcement event Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Plano-Richardson Police Training Center, 4912 14th Street. Times are local.
The free event is open to high school seniors, college students and others interested in law-enforcement careers, according to the city. It covers sworn-officer and civilian roles through demonstrations, interactive activities and conversations with department personnel.
The city’s registration form was available Thursday morning and says refreshments and lunch will be provided. The form also states that providing a mobile number opts the registrant into texts about the event.
