A large gathering took place at Celebration Park in Allen on Saturday, June 27, for the 2026 Allen USA festival. The event served a dual purpose, honoring both the 150th anniversary of the city’s establishment and the 250th birthday of the United States. Allen is located approximately 6 miles north of Plano.

Attendees filled the park’s lawn, with many wearing red, white, and blue attire. The day included live musical performances, food trucks, vendor booths, and activities suitable for families. The Blue Skies Parachute Team performed aerial displays above the park. On the ground, musical groups Endless Summer and Music City Queens provided entertainment for the crowd.

As evening approached, the festival concluded with a fireworks display. The event has expanded significantly since its first year in 1995. It is now considered one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in North Texas. Last year, the festival drew more than 23,000 people. Organizers indicated that crowds this year were similar in size or larger.

The city of Allen provided photographs from the event. Officials stated that the festival is scheduled to return to Celebration Park during the summer of 2027. Further details regarding specific attendance numbers for this year were not provided.
