Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West has introduced a fall calendar of interactive experiences designed to offer guests alternatives to traditional dining. The lineup spans the hotel’s Whiskey Moon, its speakeasy, and the Zen Pool + Bar, providing options for social gatherings or solo relaxation.
Cocktail-focused events include The Art of the Pour, a monthly class where bartenders guide participants in making three seasonal drinks. The speakeasy hosts Booze & Bootleggers, a Prohibition-era themed session where guests craft period-inspired cocktails. Additionally, the monthly Murder & Moonshine event combines a prix-fixe dinner with a performance by a local troupe, allowing guests to solve a fictional crime during the meal.
Creative activities are also featured through Martinis & Masterpieces, which partners with Charles Ray's Coffee Roasters. Participants begin with an espresso martini made from the roaster's beans before using coffee to create a painting. This event pairs beverage service with a hands-on artistic component.
On select Wednesdays, the hotel hosts Mah Jong Nights led by a local instructor. The sessions accommodate both beginners learning the game and experienced players opting for open play, with food available for order from Whiskey Moon. For a quieter evening, the Zen Pool + Bar offers Floating Sound Baths on other select Wednesdays.
Hosted by a local vendor, this guided meditation allows participants to float in the pool or remain in lounge chairs.
