A diverse range of events is scheduled across the North Texas region for the week of September 9 through 13. The lineup includes professional sports viewings, live music performances, comedy shows, and community-focused gatherings in Plano, Frisco, Dallas, and The Colony.
The week begins on September 9 at Legacy Hall in Plano, where attendees can watch the New England Patriots play the Seattle Seahawks on large indoor and outdoor screens. Dinner and drinks are available prior to the 7:20 p.m. kickoff. The following day, September 10, The Stix Icehouse in McKinney hosts a bingo night where prizes consist of plants rather than traditional items.
Each participant receives a card, with additional boards available for purchase, and more than 10 prize plants are offered each night.
On September 11, comedian Troy Bond performs at Mic Drop Comedy in Plano. Bond, who has a social media following of over 4 million, is known for crowd work and impressions. Also on September 11, country artist Tim McGraw performs at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, joined by special guests 49 Winchester and Timothy Wayne.
September 12 features multiple simultaneous events. At Riders Field in Frisco, the 12th annual Verve Celebrity Softball Classic brings together athletes and entertainers, with proceeds supporting veterans and charities. The event includes a 9/11 tribute and fireworks.
At Kaleidoscope Park in Frisco, a community event focuses on sports and healthy living with interactive games. In The Colony, SCHEELS holds an evening on the Grandscape Lawn to support North Texas Giving Day.
