Houston Texans linebacker Henry To’oTo’o will be sidelined for an unspecified period after sustaining a shoulder injury in the team’s 36-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Coach DeMeco Ryans disclosed the update to reporters on Sept. 14.
To’oTo’o left the game during the fourth quarter and did not return. Ryans said, “Unfortunately, Henry, he has a shoulder injury. He’ll be out for some time.”
The fourth-year inside linebacker recorded two tackles against Buffalo. He had 95 tackles during the 2025 season and more than 100 in 2024.
The injury adds to the Texans’ linebacker concerns. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap referenced a photo showing To’oTo’o wearing a sling, while a post from Houston Stressans identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as possible players who could see more time. Hansen also sustained an injury during the loss, according to the report.
