Early contact, then a clean middle
Corey Seager's two-run homer in the first gave Quantrill a cushion before he threw a pitch with the lead. Gabriel Moreno's solo shot in the fourth was the only damage across Quantrill's first five frames. He induced double plays that cut off Arizona innings, the box shows, and kept traffic from stacking into crooked numbers.
The sixth ended with Quantrill still on the mound after Texas had stretched the lead to 7-1 on Danny Jansen's double and Seager's RBI single. When Geraldo Perdomo singled to open the seventh, Tyler Alexander relieved him. Nolan Arenado greeted Alexander with a three-run homer that made it 7-4.
